About AEC4D PRO

AEC4D PRO is a plugin from Lasse Lauch that facilitates data exchange between Cinema 4D and After Effects. It can export cameras, text layers, markers and stage‑objects into the active composition, with options to overwrite existing layers or export only the current frame. The plugin also imports textures, still images and rendered outputs. A recent rewrite introduced a redesigned interface and faster export performance. Compatibility spans After Effects CS6 through 2026 and Cinema 4D R17 through 2026, including R25 and the S‑series releases. Updates have added support for newer Redshift cameras, improved Unicode handling, and macOS compatibility fixes for recent After Effects versions.
