About Command Frame

Command Frame provides a floating command interface for Adobe After Effects that opens via a shortcut key. Users type the desired outcome and execute actions immediately, with the ability to chain multiple actions. The panel searches across layers, effects, presets, toolbars, scripts, plugin actions and more. Built‑in actions include selecting layers by range, index, parent, track‑matte source, label colour, or type; navigating to previous or next compositions; renaming timeline or project items; moving the playhead to a specific frame or time; and deselecting all items. Settings let you control panel dismissal, query restoration, view restoration, and pinned‑action filtering. Command Frame runs on After Effects 2024 or later, requires Windows 10 (64‑bit) or newer, or macOS 13 Ventura or newer, and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
