CRTX from Plugin LyfeX provides a CRT effect that reacts to the underlying footage rather than acting as a static overlay. In both After Effects and Premiere Pro, each frame is redrawn with scan structure, mask patterns, bloom, glow, and analog signal chaos that shift according to motion, luminance, and edge information. Controls are organized into sections such as Style, Color Grading, Electron Beam, Surface, Phosphor, Geometry, Camera, Glitch & Instability, Circuit Bending, and Audio, with a library for importing and exporting presets. Recent updates added Premiere Pro support, new Tube Physics and Power State sections, and performance improvements. Compatibility spans After Effects and Premiere Pro releases from CS6 through the 2026 versions, covering all listed CC and yearly builds.
