About Displacer Pro

Displacer Pro, developed by Plugin Everything, is a GPU‑accelerated displacement‑map effect for After Effects. It works in 32 bits‑per‑channel colour and can displace using translation, rotation and scale. The plugin includes displacement modes for hue, saturation, luma and red, and provides map‑adjustment controls such as gamma, softness and easing.

Additional features include temporal motion blur with multiple iterations, chromatic aberration, built‑in anti‑aliasing and support for Multi‑Frame Rendering (MFR). An Apple‑silicon native binary is supplied. The plugin is compatible with After Effects releases from CS6 through 2026, covering the CC series and all versions listed in the source.

Version 1.6.1, released 21 Feb 2025, corrected the scale behaviour, improved anti‑aliasing performance and visual quality, fixed a low‑precision issue at 8 bpc, and resolved a caching bug that occurred when more than one displacement iteration was used.
