Frischluft Lenscare AE provides two camera‑blur effects for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. The Depth of Field effect creates depth‑based blur using a depth buffer, while the Out of Focus effect applies a constant‑radius blur that can use custom‑drawn lenses and adds background distortion for semi‑transparent areas. Both effects include aperture controls to emulate different lenses and a brightness boost for bright out‑of‑focus regions. The plugin supports multi‑frame rendering, Apple Silicon, and runs on macOS and Windows (64‑bit). Version 1.5 migrated to a new code base and introduced several bug fixes and performance improvements. A free trial is available for testing compatibility before purchase.
