About JustPaste

JustPaste replaces the usual workflow of saving, exporting, locating, and dragging assets into Adobe After Effects. After copying an asset—such as an image, vector, SVG, animated GIF, video, or audio—from a web browser, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Finder, or Explorer—you can paste it into your composition in one step. The extension’s auto mode selects the optimal format and can convert SVGs to editable shape layers. Each asset is saved next to the .aep file, optionally inside a custom‑named folder, and you can control layer placement and timing relative to the playhead or selected layer. File‑name handling offers templates, prompts, and options for duplicates. Multiple files can be pasted at once, and all actions are undoable with a single undo command.
