About LottieFiles

LottieFiles is an extension that integrates directly into After Effects and Premiere Pro, allowing designers to import animation projects and export them in Lottie JSON or dotLottie formats. The panel includes an embedded web Lottie player for real‑time preview and a render timing graph that assists in optimizing file size and CPU usage. Users can upload animation checkpoints to LottieFiles, share them privately, and browse thousands of free public Lottie assets. Recent versions add a Motion System to apply brand colours, fonts, easings and motion presets in one click, as well as multi‑animation dotLottie support. Version 4.9.1 is compatible with After Effects releases from CC 2014 through 2026 and supports Premiere Pro as a host.
