About AErmes
AErmes is a script‑based plugin for After Effects developed by Bending Spoons. It exports an After Effects project to a Lokalise project ready for translation, then imports the translated content to generate localized compositions with a few clicks. The tool requires scripts to have permission to write files and access the network, which is enabled in After Effects → Preferences → Scripting & Expressions. Compatibility starts at After Effects version 17.0 and later. The current public release is version 1.2.4 (August 2021) and is listed in the Adobe Exchange library. Access to AErmes is limited to Bending Spoons employees; other users cannot obtain or run the script. Although cataloged as free, its distribution is restricted and not a conventional free‑to‑download product.
