About FanFilmFX Saber Blade

FanFilmFX Saber Blade is a generator plugin from FanFilmFX for adding lightsaber effects to fan‑video Star Wars Jedi battles. You keyframe and rotoscope the blade onto your footage, and it runs in After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Motion and Final Cut Pro X.

The plugin lets you adjust the width of each end of the blade individually for motion blur and perspective effects, change tip pointiness, and set the colour to any hue. Automatic flicker and vibration controls add realism, and a cutout feature allows the blade to appear behind other objects or people.

Saber Blade requires Noise Industries FxFactory to run, which is available as a free download; FxFactory Pro is a paid version with identical system requirements. The plugin supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
