About Plexus 3
Plexus 3 is Rowbyte’s particle engine for After Effects. It allows procedural creation, manipulation and visualization of data, rendering particles and building relationships between them based on a range of parameters. Version 3.2.10 adds a Minimum Distance setting for Lines, Facets and Triangulation render objects, while earlier releases introduced a Color Mode for those objects and let the Transform Effector be driven by an After Effects layer. OBJ file sequence support is available in After Effects 2024 and later. The plugin runs on After Effects versions from CS6 through 2025, includes Multi Frame Rendering support, and runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs.
