About BOOM Library Cannons
BOOM Library Cannons provides a comprehensive set of cannon sound effects covering fifteen period‑accurate types, such as 16‑pounder, 18‑pounder, 30‑pounder, Burgundian 62, 60 Caliber, Carronade, and Culverin. Recordings are captured in 26 channels, encompassing blasts, impacts, flybys, and mechanical noises. The bundle is split into two collections: the Construction Kit, which includes full‑length blast‑to‑impact recordings with eight material‑specific Foley variations per cannon, and the Designed pack, which repurposes those channels into five ready‑to‑drag‑and‑drop sets (Distant, Mechanic, Crisp, Loud, Soft) with six variations each. All files are delivered as 24‑bit/96 kHz WAV files and are compatible with both Windows and macOS, allowing direct import into After Effects, Premiere Pro, or any application that supports WAV audio.
