About Karton 2

Karton 2 is an After Effects extension for building dynamic text boxes that can be turned into reusable presets. It supports After Effects 2026, 2025, and 2024. The Preset Library lets you create and store custom text box presets for quick access. A typewriter effect offers customizable cursor style, color, speed, and blink. The user interface is smaller and more dynamic, fitting alongside other panels and adapting to reduced screen space. A Reload Button can rename layers and their Kartons to match content, with an option to disable this behavior via a right‑click menu. Version 2.0.3, released on June 10, 2025, adds fixes for time calculation, macOS preset export, shape alignment, and parenting issues.
