About LightsOn

LightsOn provides lens flares and light effects for After Effects compositions. Developed using Standard Elements, it runs without any separate plug‑in, allowing you to add a light to a comp and animate it through Essential Properties. All parameters are exposed via layers, expression controls, and expressions, and multiple lights can be blended for complex looks. The tool supports After Effects version 2026, 2025, and 2024. Version 1.0.4, released 12 June 2026, fixed issues observed in non‑English language builds. A demo video demonstrates the setup and animation workflow. LightsOn is targeted at motion designers who need integrated flare and lighting effects without installing additional software.
