About Aura

Aura is a procedural plug‑in for After Effects (Rowbyte) that generates geometric shapes as vector‑like waves in 3D space, similar to a particle system but using waveforms. It can render hundreds of thousands of high‑frequency waves for animated results. Features include Multi‑Frame Rendering support, SVG Export for sequences, Dots Rendering Mode, Color Maps and Gradient Position Mode, plus Camera Near/Far visibility controls. The plug‑in runs on After Effects versions CC 2017 through 2025 and includes native support for Apple Silicon and M1 Macs. Version 1.2.7 (September 2025) added stability and compatibility fixes for After Effects 2025 and carries forward previous bug fixes.
