About Fresh Trim
Fresh Trim is an After Effects script from Freshmograph that enables one‑click trimming and moving of layers. It runs from a customizable panel and includes Kbar support, allowing you to use its functions from your own workflow configuration. The script provides fifteen trim modes, such as Trim to CTI, Trim to Comp, Trim Comp to Selection, Trim to Work Area, and Trim Work Area to Selection. On macOS, holding the Command key trims only the in‑point. Version 2 added layer moving, a user‑specified number of rows, and dynamic button icons. The latest release, version 2.01 (June 2, 2025), fixed a conflict in the Kbar‑only version. Compatibility includes After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, and 2023.
