About MoTi-Wizard

MoTi-Wizard is a CEP extension for Adobe After Effects that links Illustrator and Photoshop source files to already‑animated compositions. It can update animated Illustrator artwork at the current playhead position and replace a selected Photoshop or Illustrator source without rebuilding the After Effects layer. Double‑clicking a layer opens its original file in Illustrator or Photoshop. The extension captures Photoshop redraws as snapshot keyframes. Two import modes are provided: Normal mode preserves the original Illustrator workflow, maintaining layer order and enabling fast source replacement; Shape mode imports artwork as editable After Effects Shape Layers for direct path control and keyframe synchronization. MoTi‑Wizard runs on After Effects 2022 through 2026. Installation and licensing are handled via the aescripts + aeplugins manager, and the download includes a ZXP installer and a PDF tutorial.
