Zaebects JPEG Glitch is a plugin for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro that leverages the JPEG compression algorithm to generate glitch visual effects. It processes each frame individually, converting it to JPEG, applying controlled errors, and returning the frame in its original picture format. The plugin includes a control panel for adjusting compression ratio, broken‑bytes count, and all 64 quantization‑table coefficients, with optional random value replacement. Crash protection ensures that any corrupted bytes remain only during conversion, so the final rendered files remain usable despite their corrupted appearance. The plugin supports After Effects 2026 through 2020 and CC 2015.3, as well as Premiere Pro 2026 through 2020, and operates without requiring programming knowledge.
