About EasyMesh Batch Exporter

EasyMesh Batch Exporter is a Blender add‑on aimed at game asset pipelines. It exports meshes, curves and metaballs simultaneously, converting them to mesh and writing to FBX, OBJ, glTF/GLB, USD and STL with format‑specific optimisations. Naming follows Unreal (PascalCase), Unity (Capitalised_Words_With_Underscores) and Godot (snake_case), and custom prefixes or suffixes can be added. The add‑on can generate up to four LOD levels via progressive decimation, preserving symmetry and allowing per‑level decimation ratios; LOD objects are named {basename}_LOD00, {basename}_LOD01, etc., and exported as structured FBX hierarchies compatible with Unity and Unreal LOD systems. Mesh processing includes modifier control, triangulation with normal preservation, and geometry nodes optimisation. Textures may be resized per LOD level while preserving format and aspect ratio. It is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, handles meshes exceeding two million polygons through automatic garbage collection and progressive cleanup, and provides a Recent Exports panel with colour‑coded viewport indicators.

Features

  • Multi-format export to FBX, OBJ, glTF/GLB, USD, and STL, covering meshes, curves, and metaballs with automatic mesh conversion
  • Game engine naming conventions for Unreal (PascalCase), Unity (Capitalised_Words_With_Underscores), and Godot (snake_case), plus custom prefixes and suffixes
  • Automatic LOD generation up to four levels via progressive decimation, with symmetry preservation and per-level decimation ratios
  • LOD hierarchy export as structured FBX files compatible with Unity and Unreal LOD systems
  • Mesh processing with modifier control (None/Visible/Render), triangulation methods that preserve normals, and geometry nodes optimisation
  • Texture management with per-LOD resizing, format preservation, adjustable compression, and aspect ratio protection
  • Transform control including configurable Forward/Up axes, global scale, metre/centimetre unit conversion, and zeroing object location before export

Best for

Game development asset pipelines that require batch export with engine‑specific naming conventions, LOD hierarchy creation, and texture management for Unity, Unreal and Godot.
