About Aly James Lab VProm 3 [MAC]

VProm 3 models the internal AM6070 µLaw DAC with a adjustable per‑voice decompression ratio, and offers CEM‑type filters that can be set to legacy or expert mode. Rather than using recorded samples, it reproduces the analog behavior of the original drum machine in real time, providing authentic tonal character and dynamic response.

Best for

Producers seeking authentic 1980s drum‑machine sound without relying on sample playback.
