About 3D Primitives Generator

3D Primitives Generator builds simple 3D primitives directly inside After Effects using only native layers. Each primitive is assembled from shape layers, solids, or pre‑comps, keeping the project lightweight and fast. Every face of a generated object is placed in its own composition, allowing independent color, pattern, texture, or gradient adjustments. Slider controls govern size and other parameters, and a full‑range taper control is available for cubes, pyramids, and prisms. Version 3 adds a compact UI that mimics a 3D software panel, introduces pyramid and prism primitives, and updates expressions for improved performance. Improved naming and layer color conventions make it easier to reuse generated elements in other projects. The plugin supports After Effects CC 2018 through the 2025 release.
