About AlignAll
AlignAll provides alignment and distribution tools for both 2D and 3D layers within After Effects. Users can align to the composition, the current selection, or a key object (the last layer selected). The panel supports Align by View and Align by World, handling layers at different depths and compositions that contain a camera. Distribution controls include options by view, by world, and a new Distribute By Distance mode anchored to the key object. Depth buttons let users adjust 3D layer positions, and the Scale Compensate feature changes a layer’s depth while preserving its on‑screen appearance. Version 1.1.0 adds right‑click shortcuts for aligning to the comp edge, action safe, or title safe, and consolidates polling with the developer’s other tools, which can be disabled in the settings menu.
