Automation Toolkit Free enables After Effects users to design custom buttons that trigger a wide range of built‑in actions such as layer positioning, rotation, time‑remapping, pre‑composing, adding solids, nulls, cameras, lights, and shape layers. It also supports composition and project commands, render‑queue and output‑module settings, and file or folder operations. The plug‑in can execute JavaScript code with variable inputs and return results, and it processes CSV data from Google Sheets or Excel. Keyframe handling includes retiming, offsetting, copying, deleting, and reading counts, though interpolation and hold settings cannot be changed. Text layers support source text, font, size, and justification, while shapes and masks are not accessible. Version 2.0.4 runs on After Effects 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, CC 2019 and CC 2018.
