About Batch Shot

Batch Shot is a script for After Effects that captures PNG screenshots from video clips without leaving the application. Users select footage items in the Project panel, choose the exact frame with a percentage slider, and export clean PNG stills in one click to a folder of their choice. An optional text watermark can be added, with customizable color, opacity, and position (top, center, bottom) using five built‑in fonts: Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Times New Roman, and Courier New. File names are generated automatically from project, clip, date, and time macros, and a progress bar with logging tracks each batch operation. Batch Shot is compatible with After Effects 2025, 2024, and 2023. Version 1.0 was released on September 11, 2025.
