About Chatty
Chatty runs inside After Effects and enables the creation of animated chat dialogues that can include text, emojis, media files, audio tracks, and avatar graphics. Users can apply customizable visual styles to these conversations. The plugin supports output formats for social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and can generate fake phone screens, chat overlays, and green‑screen inserts for film, TV, and advertising projects. It also serves rapid prototyping of chat‑based visuals without leaving After Effects. Chatty is at version 1.0.0, released in June 2026, and is compatible with After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. A demonstration video is provided in the catalog entry.
