About Easy Clones 2

Easy Clones 2 provides a cloning workflow for After Effects focused on 2D artwork. It supports bitmap layers, vector layers, shape layers and precomps, letting users arrange clones with line and grid spacing, apply delay to clone and layer transformations, and use loopable wiggles while keeping stroke widths consistent. Version 2.0 introduced these controls and added random colour options and expression‑management improvements for faster previews and renders. The 2.1 update (January 2024) adds a performance boost, scale limiting, and new slider and checkbox controllers for additional clone properties, and fixes issues with position wiggle and colour controller timing. The plugin runs on After Effects 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. A demo video is available from the developer.
