About Hawaiki Hue Finesse

Hawaiki Hue Finesse provides targeted color and exposure correction across eight customizable hue bands—Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Skin and Grey—in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, as well as Final Cut Pro and Motion. Each band can be tuned for density, saturation, hue, gamma, gain and RGB balance, with the option to set saturation as subtractive or standard. Mask refinement lets you define hue, saturation and value ranges or pick directly from the image, then adjust gain, clip black/white, invert and blur. Independent shape masks can be enabled and inverted per band, while primary correction and white‑balance affect the whole image. Users may select HSV, Spherical or OkLCH color models, set color space and tone curve separately for the image and mask, and save presets. The plug‑in runs through Noise Industries FxFactory, which is available as a free download; a paid FxFactory Pro version shares the same system requirements.
