Automata offers a 1‑D cellular‑automata engine that adds bits from its evolving state to note parameters such as trigger, pitch, velocity, duration, slice, and hold, while also generating four MIDI CC messages. The sequencer can reset every N steps, provides a scalable UI with tooltips, synchronizes to host transport, and delivers sample‑accurate MIDI output in VST3 format. Stage provides a minimal gain amplifier with peak, RMS and crest‑factor metering and adjustable meter ranges.
