About LipsyncTool

LipsyncTool automates lip‑sync animation in After Effects through smooth interpolation driven exclusively by keyframes linked to timeline markers. Users place viseme shapes—such as A, E, O, M—on a preset layer, assign markers, and then apply the preset to the main art layer. The markers trigger the appropriate viseme keyframe sets, supporting range markers and multi‑frame sequences, while the motion remains expression‑free. Version 1.0, released on 19 June 2025, runs on After Effects versions from CC 2018 through the 2025 release, including CC 2019, CC 2020, CC 2021, CC 2022, CC 2023, and CC 2024. A demonstration video is provided by the developer.

  • Marker-based animation that uses timeline markers to trigger viseme keyframe sets, including range markers and multi-frame animations
  • Smooth interpolated lipsync animation with no holds
  • Works without expressions
  • Compatible with After Effects from CC 2018 through the 2025 release
