Lockdown provides warping and planar surface tracking inside After Effects, enabling cleanup, paint, and frame‑by‑frame animation through its Paint Link workflow, which also supports Photoshop AI Generative Fill on moving footage. The Composite Brush tool adds a precise color selector and modifier. For 3D work, the plugin exports tracking data as a native C4D file for Cinema 4D or as Alembic for Blender and other applications, allowing objects to be attached and meshes to be relit. Compatibility includes After Effects 2022‑2025, Cinema 4D R15‑2025, Blender 3.2‑4.4, Houdini 17‑21, and Maya 2017‑2025. The listed free version offers all features except mesh tracking, which is reserved for a paid tier.
