About Mettle Flux
Mettle Flux is a plugin for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro that creates 3D volumetric fractal flames. It can render traditional video as well as 360/VR outputs, supporting monoscopic and stereoscopic over/under and side‑by‑side configurations. Users start with the FLUX Preset Panel for one‑click animation presets, and can access additional presets via the FLUX Effects Control Panel in After Effects. A Globe Preview Panel provides a 360° view while shaping the effect with controls for Force Field, Mutations, Iterations, Evolutions, Lights, and Symmetry. Rendering is GPU‑accelerated and volumetric, and the plugin works with the native After Effects 3D camera and includes a built‑in camera for both After Effects and Premiere Pro. It runs from After Effects CC 2015.3 through the 2026 release and Premiere Pro CC through 2023, with native Apple Silicon support and multi‑frame rendering added in earlier updates.
