About Modulation 2

Modulation 2 is a plugin for After Effects and Premiere Pro that creates a modulation effect on video using a physical modulation and demodulation algorithm. Users can adjust omega, phase and distortion parameters, and choose among five color modes: Greyscale, RGB, CMY, CMYK and HSV, with switchable channels. Wave movement can be set to forward or backward direction and vertical or horizontal orientation via direction and orientation parameters. Low‑pass filtering is available through three checkboxes and an adjustable filter. Version 2.1.0 added support for Premiere Pro, extending compatibility from After Effects CC 2014 through 2026 and matching the same range for Premiere Pro. The plugin is listed as free in the catalog.
