About OverAct

OverAct is a free After Effects effect designed for creating overshoot and bounce animations, often described as bending physics. The effect is applied through a dedicated OverAct panel and can animate a single property or multiple properties simultaneously. Its interface separates overshoot and bounce controls, and users can adjust default settings and store them as reusable presets. The panel also provides a graph editor overview, and the effect can be removed from a layer when no longer needed. Released as version 1.0 on May 8 2026, OverAct supports After Effects versions 2020 through 2026 and is listed in the aescripts library as a specialized tool for overshoot and bounce animation.
