About Pins & Boxes

Pins & Boxes helps After Effects users create dynamic layouts by allowing alignment and attachment of elements to any point on a text’s bounding box, and by building boxes that expand or shrink with their content. The plugin provides position and anchor control effects, and disconnected pins can be parented. Its expressions are universalized for foreign-language versions of After Effects. Compatibility spans from CC 2015 through After Effects 2026. Version 1.1.005 (released November 11, 2025) fixes online activation connection issues and updates the license framework.
