About Quick Parent PRO

Quick Parent PRO provides a layer‑linking workflow for Adobe After Effects based on Last‑Selection Parenting. The tool tracks selections in real time, allowing multiple child layers to be linked to a parent with a single click of the Parent button, eliminating the need to drag the pick‑whip. Version 2.2 added a one‑click Unparent feature, improved stability of selection tracking, better handling of removed layers, and new vector icons for both actions. The plugin runs on a wide range of After Effects releases, from CS6 through the 2026 version. It is targeted at rigging artists, 2D character animators, complex‑composition animators, and designers who require fast, precise layer linking. A trial mode is included, restricting usage to three layers at a time.
