About STACK3D

STACK3D provides a single dockable panel for handling the 3D artwork pipeline in Adobe After Effects. It converts both vector and raster artwork into 3D geometry, supports custom extrusion shapes and bevel, lets you assign independent colors to faces, cleans problematic paths, and rigs the output to a null controller for animation. The panel requires After Effects 2025 (v25.0) or later and is compatible with the 2025 and 2026 releases on macOS and Windows. Users must enable the Advanced 3D renderer (Calder) in Composition > Settings > Advanced and allow scripts to write files and access the network in Preferences > Scripting & Expressions. After installation, the panel is opened via Window > Stack3D.jsx and can be docked anywhere in the workspace.
