About Vectory

Vectory converts images into a living network of moving lines within After Effects. Its particle system reads pixel brightness, sending thousands of particles across the image so they change direction and form evolving patterns. The plugin provides three modes—Particles, Static Trails, and Trails—and lets users adjust movement randomness, global direction, particle size, lifetime, and Fluctuation for jitter. Gravity Points add interactive attraction or repulsion forces. Color handling supports original image colors, custom palettes, and animated transitions. Drawing Mode offers Nice and Simple rendering with optional transparency and background color control. Vectory runs on After Effects 2026 back to 2020, and version 1.1 fixed spawn layer coordinate mapping and render pipeline handling.
