About AE Screens Type

AE Screens Type is a plugin for After Effects that expands text layer capabilities. It offers type‑on animation by character, word, or line, with options for upward or centered flow, and includes a customizable blinking cursor that follows the text. Highlight, underline and strikethrough tools can target whole layers or specific ranges and can be animated automatically. The plugin can generate a smart rectangle or a perfectly sized track matte that adapts as the text changes, both fully customizable. A number rig formats numbers for any locale, adds symbols and abbreviations, and an automatic time counter tracks layer time. Monospacing is available for any font, with spacing controls and variable spacers for selected ranges. Text can be split by word, line or character into fully editable layers that retain pixel‑perfect positioning and effects, with advanced parenting options for further control.
