About Autokroma AfterCodecs

AfterCodecs by Autokroma provides an encoding solution that integrates with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. It allows export directly from the After Effects render queue without using the command line or creating large temporary files, and it also functions inside Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. The plugin bundles all four Vidvox HAP codecs with faster algorithms and no resolution limits, and includes a YouTube Upload profile configured to match YouTube’s recommended settings. Users can select encoding efficiency from fast preview to low‑file‑size delivery, and advanced options cover file‑size targeting, 10‑bit color, full‑range levels, YUV 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, plus tuning profiles. AfterCodecs supports Adobe releases from 2014 through 2025 on macOS 11 (Big Sur) to 15 (Sequoia) for both Intel and Apple Silicon, and Windows 10 and 11. A single license may be used by the same person on up to two computers, provided they are not used simultaneously.
