About Datamosh 2

Datamosh 2, developed by Plugin Play, provides a datamoshing tool for After Effects built around Mosh Maps and a library of more than 60 algorithms, including Multiply, Average, Mirror, Sweep, and various sine and cosine variations. The plugin offers 16× higher precision, six new parameters, and a marker‑based workflow that enables frame removal, motion hijacking, and motion swapping between clips. Version 2.6.1 is compatible with After Effects 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and CC 2019. Recent updates rewrote the UI and engine for faster processing, bundled required executables (including ffmpeg), and introduced beta support for Premiere Pro. The plugin includes built‑in error reporting and notification improvements.
