About GothLab GridGen

GothLab GridGen creates shape‑based procedural grids directly within After Effects. It includes more than 16 generative tools, a library of over 200 color themes, and 60 presets covering effects, animation, and Element 3D templates. Users can adjust recursion depth, symmetry, balance, and split behavior, and batch‑generate multiple grid sections across separate layers. The plugin provides a Camera Rig with shake, isometric toggle, and optional layer tracking, as well as a Light Rig with three orbiting lights whose intensity, radius, and color are individually controllable. Additional utilities include a Tiler for arranging layers in rows or columns, a Stacker that converts layers to 3‑D and stacks them along the Z‑axis, and an E3D Boilerplate that prepares shape layers for Element 3D. Export options are PNG up to 16K resolution, SVG vector, and AI files. GridGen is compatible with After Effects 2022 through 2025 but requires the separately purchased Element 3D plugin for its 3D workflows.
