Hawaiki AutoSplit provides split‑screen creation and animation for major video editing and compositing applications, including After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X and Motion. The plug‑in includes two effect modules: Classic for rectangular grids and Extended for triangle‑based layouts. Users can adjust scale, crop and hold position of each box to any value, apply border styling, and start from built‑in presets. Version 1.5 introduced a Metal GPU‑accelerated image‑processing pipeline for both modules. The plug‑in runs through Noise Industries FxFactory, which is available as a free download and supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
