About Grid Composer

Grid Composer is a layout designer for After Effects that provides a visual editor with live preview for creating grid, split, random, and custom arrangements. Drag‑and‑drop editing is supported by Snap to Blocks and alignment guides. The Custom Grid builder lets you adjust rows, columns, and per‑cell sizing, while a random generator offers several style options. Blocks can be split horizontally, vertically, or with custom sub‑grids, and you can control gap, padding, and duplicate blocks in four directions plus center. A preset library with four categories is included, and you can save custom presets. Export is available in five modes: Compositions, Shape Layers, Solid Layers, Masks on Solid, and Comps + Alpha Matte, with built‑in IN/OUT animations offering multiple styles, orders, and easings. Grid Composer runs on Windows and macOS and is compatible with After Effects versions 2022 through 2026.
