About Loopy

Loopy adds a dedicated panel to After Effects for looping keyframes, paths, pre‑comps and footage. It offers four loop types—Cycle, Ping Pong, Offset and Continue—allowing you to select the appropriate behavior directly from the interface. Loop direction can be switched, and a keyframe modifier can be set with an optional limit to existing keyframes. Alt‑clicking the Cycle Loop button applies Time Remap to AV or pre‑comp layers without inserting an expression, creating keyframes that match the trimmed layer duration. Loopy also preserves any existing expression on a property when a loop is applied. Version 1.2.4, released 26 March 2026, works with After Effects 2026 through 2020 and CC 2019, includes code optimizations, a user‑guide link in the “More information” panel, and updates to the licence framework.
