About Cartoon Moblur

Cartoon Moblur is an After Effects plugin from Plugin Everything that adds a stylized motion‑trail effect to graphics. The effect mimics motion blur but produces a more cartoony look. Controls include a shutter angle for blur length, color selection (solid fill or gradient ramp), and an Opacity Samples setting that determines quality. The plugin works with all transformations, including 3D, parented animation, and bezier path animation. An alternate motion source parameter lets you apply the effect to an adjustment layer, affecting all layers beneath it, provided the input layer has collapse transformations enabled. Version 1.6.3 (June 12, 2022) updated the license framework; earlier updates added native Apple Silicon support and multi‑frame rendering compatibility. Compatibility spans from CS6 through After Effects 2026.
