About QuickLink Items

QuickLink Items is a find-and-replace utility for After Effects developed by NT Productions. It scans entire drives or specific folders to locate missing assets and then relinks them, providing clear reports of found and still-missing items. The script handles image sequences by using the source file name, ensuring renamed files are correctly reconnected. It also supports camera raw files and formats such as .mkv and .ts. QuickLink Items runs on both macOS and Windows and is compatible with After Effects versions from 2025 back to CC 2014. The current release is version 1.7, updated April 23, 2026, with bug fixes for file finding and non‑English language support. A demo video is available on the developer’s page.
