About AutoCollapse

AutoCollapse applies Collapse Transformations across layers in an After Effects project with a single click, covering regular layers, precomps, layers inside nested compositions, and locked layers. Checkboxes let you choose which layer categories are affected; you can also manually select specific layers or precomps. Locked layers can be excluded by disabling the Include Locked option. After execution, the script reports how many layers were updated, already had Collapse enabled, or do not support the feature. A Help button provides usage tips, common‑issue solutions, an update check, and a tutorial video. The interface can appear full‑size or be minimized to a small toggle button.
