About Auto Savior

Auto Savior is an auto‑saving utility for After Effects that can write the original project file without creating duplicate copies, generate hourly or daily backups, and store incremental versions with a configurable limit. The save interval is set via a “Save Time” slider that spans from one minute up to 60 minutes, allowing per‑minute, hourly, daily, or custom intervals. A “Maximum Project Versions” slider also goes up to 60, controlling how many incremental versions are kept. The “Save Just the Original Project” mode mimics regular Ctrl+S behavior, while the “Save One Copy” mode maintains a single updated copy each day, useful for long‑running projects. Version 1.2.0 adds an optional pause that stops saving when the project remains unchanged for one minute, resuming immediately upon any edit. The settings UI has been refreshed for easier adjustment. Auto Savior is compatible with After Effects versions 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020.
