About mazeFX

mazeFX is an After Effects plugin from Real Creations that generates random vector mazes, also known as labyrinths, and can produce a unique solution path. The effect provides extensive controls for maze appearance and can use masks to confine the maze shape. Output can be placed in a single shape layer or split across multiple shape layers, giving flexibility in layer organization. A seed value field and a random‑seed toggle allow you to recreate the exact same maze when needed. Version 1.48, released on August 22, 2025, runs on After Effects CC through the 2025 release, including 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 versions.
