About Quick Menu 3

Quick Menu 3 provides a searchable panel for After Effects that can locate and apply effects, plugins, presets, scripts, extensions, shape‑layer filters, menu commands and expressions. It opens with a user‑defined keyboard shortcut and remains hidden until called, conserving UI space. Typing a few letters triggers a fast search, and results can be organized into recent, favorite, static or custom groups. Users may create expression controls, customize icons, and switch to a toolbar style. The plugin auto‑detects installed extensions and can launch any item appearing in the Window → Extensions submenu, as well as scripts from the Scripts and Window (ScriptUI Panels) menus. Effects can be applied to new solid, adjustment, null, shape or text layers, or to all layers sharing a label color. Version 3.1.0, updated July 2023, supports After Effects 2025 through CC 2015.3 and is listed as free.
