About Stacker

Stacker is a layer‑management script for After Effects developed by KiwiVFX. It can move selected layers to the bottom, top, left, or right of the composition and offers alignment controls, a fixed starting position, and keyframe handling. Version 1.3.5 adds scale support, options to ignore a parent layer’s rotation and to connect to a parent layer’s opacity, as well as an anchor‑point setting for fixed X and Y positions and a reset function. Settings are automatically saved and can be exported and imported between computers, including between Windows and macOS. The script works with After Effects versions from CS3 through the 2024 release. A demo video demonstrates its workflow, and the tool can be tried at no cost.
